Learner Operations
The Office for Learner Operations is a unit situated within the Division of Academic Affairs and is headed by the Associate Provost for Learner Operations. Learner Operations includes Undergraduate Admissions, Admissions Operations, Student Academic Success (Academic Advising and Support; Financial Aid; University Scholarships; Student Academic Success Services; and the Registrar’s Office), and Online Learning, Academic Outreach and Academic Innovation. The Associate Provost of Learner Operations also works with divisions, colleges/schools, departments, and offices across campus as part of broader institutional strategic enrollment management and student success efforts and initiatives.

East Carolina University offers a wide range of programs and initiatives designed to support students at every stage of their academic journey. Through initiatives such as the Innovation Early College High School, Quality Enhancement Plan, and Student Professional Readiness, East Carolina University supports learners from early college access through workforce preparation. These efforts expand educational opportunity for first-generation students, build intercultural competence aligned with employer needs, and integrate academic, experiential, and professional development experiences to prepare students for meaningful career success.
